This is an opportunity to be the people and culture expert for an iconic NZ brand
Working closely with an HR coordinator, you’ll be responsible for providing operational HR advice as well as taking the lead on HR initiatives. Key aspects of the role include:
- Providing HR support for outstanding employee benefits and professional development programmes.
- Providing expert employment relations advice to the senior leadership team and managers across the organisation.
- Working with an external consultancy on role sizing and remuneration reviews.
- Leading a range of regular employee surveys.
- Supporting talent management across a range of specialist roles.
- Helping to facilitate employee events and social activities which are an important part of the organisation’s culture.
This is a role for a senior HR generalist with experience across the whole employee life cycle. For success in this role you will also need:
- Strong knowledge of current NZ employment related legislation.
- Experience in employee relations.
- Experience in and an understanding of job sizing and remuneration practices.
- Experience in talent management from recruitment and onboarding to ongoing professional development and exit interviews.
This is an hourly rate contract, based in Wellington, starting by mid-July until Christmas. The hours are full-time with the flexibility for remote working some days each week.
