We are recruiting for a Senior Vetting Services Advisor. We are looking for a talented and professional individual with excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
NZSIS has a statutory mandate to conduct security vetting in New Zealand on behalf of all government agencies. Working with a wide variety of individuals and teams will be an important part of this role. The role of the Senior Vetting Services Advisor is to manage and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders including:

- Key external customers from government agencies that sponsor security clearances
- Internal Vetting Services customers, including the Protective Security Requirements (PSR) team
- Key third-party service providers

The Senior Vetting Services Advisor will also be responsible for uplifting customer security capability maturity communications, advice and training.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- 7+ years experience of customer service and relationship management
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in designing and delivering training plans and resources
- Understanding of the machinery of government and/or knowledge of the public sector
- The ability to anticipate customer and business needs and meet them

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
