**The opportunity**

Our team is mission is to provide trusted data and analysis that enables our department to achieve its strategic and operational goals and create greater outcomes for Tāmaki Makaurau.

This position is highly collaborative and involves working across our department and beyond to create and administer business data collection systems, that are easy and simple to use and manage, and produce high quality data.

As a Business Data Lead, you will be developing high engagement and strong relationships within the business where you’ll work closely with business stakeholders, data entry users, simplification lead, analysts and ICT to deliver fit-for-purpose, sustainable, data collection and management systems and processes.

This is a unique opportunity for an astute, business analyst or administrator, who is comfortable with ambiguity, able to navigate large, complex organisations, and is passionate about creative data and information solutions.

**About you**

You have strong experience in gathering business requirements to design and implement system solutions to capture, manage and share quality business data. Out-of-the box thinker, you have a talent to analyse and resolve complex problems with simple, innovative solutions and processes that meet the needs of the various stakeholders involved. You thrive taking the lead on collaborative projects.

Key skills required for this position is SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 Apps. Experience with data and process governance, and co-design will be a bonus.
