**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
You will be responsible for providing support to the Nurse Director with professional nursing leadership and assurance of clinical safety, within the Perioperative Directorate. Portfolios may include professional governance; quality improvement policy and risk management. You will support Key Result Area regarding Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action; and equity. You will be ensuring alignment to ADHB organisational and nursing’s goals and objectives.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
You will be a senior Perioperative Nurse with experience in a leadership role. You will have substantive knowledge of the New Zealand Health system and nursing professional ethics with previous experience in developing, implementing and monitoring nursing practice and standards.
