Newly created position within an established PMO, coordinating portfolio processes, analysing and supporting delivery of a large portfolio of programmes and projects.
**What our client can offer**:
Our client offers one of the largest and most diverse work environments in the South Island. With a recently established Programme Management Office, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Portfolio Coordinator to support the successful delivery of a range of Programmes and Projects across the business. Delivery touches all corners of this South Island enterprise, and you can expect to be heavily involved with all new projects as they enter the PMO.
**What you will do**:
A newly established position, you will coordinate portfolio processes, providing QA and oversight of all new projects as they enter the PMO. You will get exposure to stage gate reviews, business case review, portfolio analysis and planning, and become a super user of Project tracking tools within the PMO.
**Skills and experience we are looking for**:
This is a role well suited to an aspiring Project Manager, or an established Programme Office Analyst/Coordinator looking for that next step. You can expect to gain access to all areas of PMO operation and provide extensive support to the Portfolio Manager. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Proven Project/Programme Coordination experience at an enterprise level
- Very strong customer centricity
- A strong analysis bent
- Experience working at with executive stakeholders
- Experience with deployment and retail programmes would be a distinct advantage but not essential
