Job description

Supporting small compassionate staff with daily operations while finding new funders, keeping old connections and knowing what's going in and out

Key Responsibilities

IT office admin with our Lotus data base, maintaining working referral spread sheet, social media, mail chimp, and hospice website updates

Arranging palliative care educational evenings with other staff and meeting people occasionally

Essential Skills
- Charity fundraising experience
- Budgeting experience with Xero
- Compassionate communication skills
- Clear police record
- Covid 19 vaccinations and boosters
- Diploma or Degree in Health Care or Business.
- Minimum 2yrs professional experience with a volunteer organisation.
- Understanding of Buddhism and Palliative Care

Hours of work

25 hours a week (usually 9:30 am - 2:30 pm) occasional evening, good for mums and retired fundraisers who want to work with a team of kind people

Salary

$45,500 (negotiable, 25 hours a week x 52 weeks)

Managing Director and Board of Trustees

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Graduate Diploma / Graduate Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Fundraising: 2 years (required)
- Network management: 2 years (required)
