Lead Transport Network Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer/Analyst to join our Service Delivery division where you will be responsible for all things transport data related. Our Service Delivery division is made up of many different teams from network management to parking across Auckland all the way to our harbourmaster team, this role will be responsible for network performance reporting across AT which will also be shared with a number of other local boards.
This role will Lead the monitoring and reporting of the performance of the Auckland Transport Network while improving the performance monitoring framework and increase data sources to provide better understanding of the transport network.
**The opportunity**
- Develop new reports to provide insights based on the Auckland Transport and Auckland Council's strategic intent.
- Delivering visualisations, interpretation and analysis of data that provides insights so that decisions can be actioned
- Working with multiple systems and ensuring they are fit for purpose, helping to create and implement our performance monitoring roadmap
- Enhancing Power BI capability, reports, and identify solutions and improvements where analytics can be evolved

- Creative problem solver with timely ability to pre-empt problems and focussed on delivering results

**Skills and experience**
- Relevant tertiary qualification - minimum bachelor's degree in Transport Engineering
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to deal with all levels of the organisation, facilitate and engage with Senior leaders
- Experience in data analytics tools and business intelligence software
- Experience working with corporate analytics, large data sets and multiple systems,
- Demonstrated creative approach to problem solving with high-level of attention to detail
- Driven to achieve outcomes, delegates effectively and empowers others to get use all resources to achieve the best outcomes
