Senior Systems Specialist - Data Consumption **About us**: You'll be part of a team on the forefront of delivering and managing a new Data Access Control system at ASB. In our diverse and accepting environment, our people grow their agile mind-set, learn, evolve, and utilise their skills, while being empowered to make decisions. **About the role**: The Data Consumption squad are looking for experienced self-driven BI Specialist. In this role you will be building a cutting-edge Data, AI and Analytics platform for our Data Science and Analytics teams. You should have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the technologies to work with business stakeholders to develop and define key business questions and requirements. You will provide guidance and support for other engineers with industry best practices and direction. We advocate for T-Shaped teams and are looking for someone who is willing to learn new tools and processes while sharing their knowledge and uplifting others in the team. This will include the following responsibilities: - Continuously improve processes, technology, and tooling to automate workflows and ensure compliance controls are followed. - Manage many requests concurrently and strategically, prioritizing, when necessary, along with the team. - Continuous research of latest data and analytics technologies and tools to provide guidance to the business/stakeholders to deliver their outcomes **About you**: We advocate agile, fully cross functional teams. We are looking for a mix of technical skills, including: - Understanding of data and reporting needs. - Experience using IaC (Terraform and/or Bicep). - Experience using Azure. - Windows and Linux Administration Skills. - Understanding of Automation. - CI/CD implementation and usage - Good Customer Engagement Skills. - A team work mentality.
