**Tenei turanga - About the Role**:
The Programme Co-ordinator will provide project and programme management support to the Resource Markets Branch, supporting their assigned project teams with the successful delivery of programmes (and other projects).
The Project Coordinator will work closely with Managers and project teams and is responsible for providing project and general coordination support.
This role would suit someone who has prior experience in project management or coordination, is great at building relationships, excels at planning and coordinating work.
- The Programme Coordinators tasks will include:
- ; Secretariat support and coordination including project status, task, and budget monitoring and reporting; meeting minutes and action points.
- ; Coordinating monthly performance reporting, maintenance of the risk registers, and project specific risk register establishment and maintenance.
- ; Supporting the Manager Programme and Branch Services in developing and implementing project management processes and practices.
- ; Establishment and maintenance of work programmes, and any other business management activities as needed.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- In this role you will lead or contribute to:
- ; Project planning, monthly reporting, and risk management
- ; Organising and supporting workshops, meetings and external engagement
- ; Operating and improving processes, tools and templates, and assisting project teams on the use of these.
- ; Highly effective planning and organisational skills, including time management and prioritising work in a complex work environment.
- ; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- ; High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, Planner and Visio.
- ; An understanding of government processes, systems, and tools.
