Auckland, New Zealand (On-Site)

Responsibilities- Providing effective, reliable, and timely administrative support for assigned Business Applications-
- Provide daily support for AIFS related hardware and operating systems across multiple environments- Running reports and publishing to a central location on regular basis or as requested by the Customers- Monitor and manage the security, capacity, load and performance of AIFS and other major Business Systems- Monitor and manage the interfaces and associated log files between AIFS, Devices and other major Business Systems- Other related duties as assigned

Requirements- 5yrs+ demonstrated experience as a System Administrator supporting over 100 users in an enterprise environment- Demonstrable troubleshooting skills in a technically complex environment- Linux Server experience would be highly advantageous- Exposure to HPE Hyperconverged infrastructure technologies and VMware systems- Networking and fault finding experience- Experienced in IT service delivery industries that focus on proactively engaging in positive customer outcomes- Must undergo Police Security Clearance- Must be willing to travel to other Hitachi Rail GTS NZ sites on an infrequent basis for relief manning, support, or training courses- Must hold a current Drivers Licence

Desirable- MCSE or equivalent certification- Exposure to automation tools such as Puppet, and monitoring systems such as New Relic and Papertrail- Knowledge of ITIL practices and processes.-
- Knowledge of SQL programming language
- You must have a valid Work Permit or Visa to be considered for the role
