Ongoing temporary contract with the opportunity to become a permanent team member.

Our client is a busy production facility that processes and dispatches high-quality products from their Timaru site. They have a small, hardworking team that needs an amazing Customer Service Administrator to join the crew and support them with all things administration and customer service.

Core duties will include:

- General administrative duties to support production planning and stock management
- Customer service - working with customers to understand and deliver on their requirements
- Data entry of customer orders
- Navigating various systems such as production planning and inventory
- Adapting to the needs of the business and team to contribute to production deadlines
- Supporting the Operations and Production Managers

To succeed in this role you will bring:

- A strong customer focus
- Great administrative skills, accurate data entry, and attention to detail
- Ability to juggle work and meet deadlines
- Ability to think on your feet, come up with solutions, and show initiative
- And very importantly, a great sense of humour

Confidence with technology and systems is important as you will be using Ostendo (a JDE product), Excel, and Sharepoint among others.

Your work hours will fall between 7 am and 5 pm, and you will need the flexibility to work a little later if needed to meet production deadlines. But it's all swings and roundabouts, as there will be days when you will finish earlier too.
