The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.

We have a permanent, part-time (0.5FTE) **Administration Coordinator** opportunity available to join our System Enablers & Engagement Group within the Prevention Directorate of NPHS**. **This role is critical in enabling the delivery of the NPHS strategic agenda for Pae Ora (Healthy Futures).

The **Administration Coordinator** is responsible for providing administrative support to the Vaccinator Workforce Team in the day-to-day management of workforce operations and related initiatives. The primary organisational impact outcome sought from this position is to support the delivery of services and programmes on behalf of the Prevention Directorate and Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Has 2-3 years proven experience in administrative support or co-ordination roles
- Experience is the health sector is desired but not essential
- Understanding & experience working in partnership with Pacific communities
- Understanding of, and commitment to, the specific relationship under te Tiriti Waitangi, and Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora's role in improving outcomes for iwi and Māori communities
