**About The Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure security compliance.
- Lead ISO27001 Audit preparations
- Work with the software development and software excellence teams to ensure security is considered at every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Lead incident response activities and conduct thorough post-incident analyses to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and manage security testing especially Penetration testing across platforms. Also ensure DR and BCP activities are undertaken on a scheduled basis.
- Keep up to date with the latest security trends, advisories, incidents, and penetration techniques.
- Lead our in Cyber Security Group to ensure all required practices and processes are achieved in all parts of the business.
- Train and guide staff on information security protocols. This includes owning the tools and content delivered, such as via Knowb4.
- Lead information security awareness campaigns within the organization.
- Regularly report to senior leadership on the state of information security in the organization. Including running reporting such as Platform Secure Scoring.

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience with ISO and SOC2 audit activities
- Professional security management certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are required. Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CSSP) are preferred. Experience as an ISO27001 or similar auditor would also be useful.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in information security management and risk assessment.
- Experience with SaaS environments and cloud-based security considerations.
- In-depth knowledge of information security principles and practices, including security risk assessment standards, risk assessment methodologies, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
