Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Security Officer located in Auckland. The Security Officer will ensure the safety and security of people, buildings, and assets by monitoring designated premises, performing scheduled patrols, and responding to incidents. Additional responsibilities include reporting security breaches, liaising with clients as needed, and assisting in maintaining a safe environment compliant with regulations and company protocols.

Qualifications

  • Strong observation, situational awareness, and attention to detail for monitoring and reporting
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making in high-stress situations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interactions with clients, team members, and reporting incidents
  • Physical ability to perform duties such as patrolling and standing for extended periods
  • Relevant certifications or licenses required by Auckland or New Zealand security regulations
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is a plus
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs
