**About the role**

Our Senior Manager - Investor Relations will be the primary interface between Genesis Energy and the investment community, playing a critical role in enhancing our visibility and reputation as a top investment opportunity. Additionally, the role will be a critical strategic advisor to the Executive Team and Board of Directors, responsible for communicating analyst and market sentiment on company performance and strategy.

This will be an exciting opportunity to shape and execute the Investor Relations strategy, engage with key financial stakeholders, drive strategic change at Genesis, and provide valuable market insights to our executive team.

Key responsibilities include;
- Act as a corporate spokesperson to market analysts, institutional and retail investors on corporate performance and financial matters.
- Develop and execute the Investor Relations strategy, including marketing activities such as roadshows, investor days, and conferences.
- Prepare quarterly reports, annual and interim reporting and other market disclosure requirements.
- Provide financial and market intelligence to the Executive team and Board, including analysis related to share price movements, consensus analyst forecasts, and liquidity.
- Maintain a framework for competitive intelligence, analysing the performance of key competitors and industry players.
- Support in maintaining continuous disclosure requirements and adherence to share market listing rules.

**About You**

We are looking for a strategic and highly communicative leader with a deep understanding of the equity markets. Experience or an understanding of infrastructure or the energy sector would be preferable.
- Experience in investor relations or equity markets as well as experience in finance or commercial roles, ideally with exposure to investment banking, treasury, or investment research.
- Strong understanding of the dynamics of the equity markets and the New Zealand investment community.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and guide stakeholders on strategic journeys.
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or another quantitative field. A CFA, CA or other similar financial qualification would be beneficial.
- Proven commercial acumen and strong stakeholder relationship skills.
- Experience in the energy industry would be highly advantageous.
