**The Role**:
We’re on the lookout for a skilled **Barista** to join our friendly team at **Columbus Coffee New Lynn**. This is a **permanent, part-time role (**_Sunday shift only_**)** with a **competitive hourly rate**and great employee benefits. Your role goes beyond crafting top-quality coffee—you’ll be an essential part of our Front of House team, ensuring a fantastic customer experience.

Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages
- Monitoring barista/counter stock (cups, cutlery, plates) to keep service running smoothly
- ️ Preparing and presenting counter food items
- ️ Engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring outstanding service
- Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards ‍
- Assisting the kitchen team if required

**Barista experience** - your rate will reflect your skill level
**Café experience** - comfortable in a fast-paced environment
**Passion for food & coffee** - knowledgeable and enthusiastic
**Customer-first focus** - delivering exceptional service with a smile
**Strong communication skills** - able to work efficiently in a small team
**Front of House all-rounder** - happy to take orders, operate the POS, and assist wherever needed
**Weekend availability** - able to work Sundays and peak trading periods
**West Auckland resident** - ideally located for an easy commute to New Lynn
