We are proud to offer our customers a shopping experience like no other in New Zealand’s largest hardware retail store; Mitre 10 MEGA Albany as well as New Lynn, Warkworth, Whangaparoa and Silverdale, boast Columbus Coffee shops. We also have a Distribution Centre and own our own Frame and Truss Manufacturing Plant.

As a member of the trade leadership team, you will be responsible for maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Yard, Drive Thru, Timber and Service Counters. Staff Planning, rosters and supervising team members in a way that ensures knowledgeable and courteous service is consistently offered.

**The Duties of this role**:

- Assist in the supervision of team members in the correct performance of their duties by monitor performance, providing regular feedback, completing appraisals etc.
- Be responsible for stock movement, displays, POS and general standards in the trade department.
- Maintain oversight of the department to ensuring that merchandise is stacked safely.
- Ensure that the work area complies with health and safety requirements relating to the drive thru operation.
- Assist in the induction and training of all team members in their duties and responsibilities.
- Encourage and promote continuous development and career progression of individuals through training and mentoring.

- Holds a full, valid class 1 license
- Has a passion for the Timber and Building industry
- Understands the importance of good customer relationships
- Ability to fulfil a Sunday to Thursday roster pattern (early start and early finish).
