As Head of DevSecOps, you will be responsible for leading, designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable software development pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software delivery process is secure and efficient while also adhering to industry-standard security practices. You will be responsible for identifying security risks, developing security solutions, and implementing security policies and procedures.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide the strategy and direction for the DevSecOps framework
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable software development pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and vulnerabilities in software and infrastructure
- Ensure optimal operation of our Infrastructure and services
- Develop and implement security solutions to mitigate identified security risks and vulnerabilities
- Implement and maintain industry-standard security policies and procedures for software development and infrastructure management
- Develop and maintain security-focused automation scripts and tools
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing on software and infrastructure
- Provide guidance and training to software development teams on secure coding practices and secure software development methodologies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and industry-standard security practices, and ensure that our security practices align with them

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps or a related role
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, DevOps/DevSecOps practices, and Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management techniques
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line interfaces
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Expertise in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins, Git
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- Understanding of networking and security principles and tools
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira
- Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines and workflows
- Crypto and Metaverse Interest

**Professional Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CKA or AWS/MS/GCP certifications are a plus
