**Te Kāinga Rua | The Opportunity**
Lead the technology function for FranklyAI, to support this standalone business units next stage of scaling for rapid growth, creating and imbedding the technology strategy and managing the delivery and software development processes. You will be working in a tight knit, agile and passionate team in this social enterprise business, with a mission to ensure that there is ‘No Voice Is Left Behind’. You will be a key member of the leadership team working with the founder, senior Beca technology and business leaders (including the FranklyAI advisory board), as well as with sales and marketing, translation and language experts, software developers and R&D teams.

This is a broad, challenging and dynamic role, yet with the ability to make a real difference through supporting the development of the FranklyAI business. You will have broad scope with a future focus, having oversight on the rapidly changing technology landscape, trends, external technology developments, software, security and intellectual property development considerations for this business. In return, you will have scope to make your mark for this digital enterprise, with the opportunity to develop your career as the business grows.

This role will have a strong delivery focus, with you being experienced in working across multiple work streams, with the ability to help prioritise technology and people capacity, with client projects and initiatives. The ability to operate within a high degree of ambiguity will be key to success in this role, as well as jumping across projects, knowing when to be in the detail and when to empower others to own and deliver a task. You will be comfortable with also challenging external stakeholders and leadership teams in a collaborative way, ensuring the right project is delivered at the right time to achieve great client outcomes, while managing risk and costs. Developing and enabling others will also be a key aspect to this role. You will have responsibility to ensure a culture of enablement, where your mentoring, coaching and leadership abilities will develop other across the technology, development and related functions. Your ability to lead leaders to deliver outcomes will be important.

You will also be leading technical integration discussions with external clients and partners, especially supporting growth across the Government sector. You will be experienced in building credibility with Chief Information Officer level leaders across Government Ministries and Agencies, as well as supporting sales activities by answering and delivering, technology related requirements for other key client stakeholders, during business development processes and for ongoing client relationship management. Your experience across SAAS, technology, security and compliance requirements will be important. This is a unique Head of Technology role, within a rapidly evolving start-up, yet with the backing, investment, and commitment from the Beca Group.

Your previous experience may include a range of company types, scales and roles including experience in understanding large corporate processes across technology functions; or alternatively working in a start-up or early stage business, leading the technology function through a significant growth stage.
