My client is a well-known and respected New Zealand owned and led business, supplying to distributors and major retailers throughout New Zealand. With quality brands, strong relationships, and decades in business, they are highly regarded in the industrial, electrical, automotive, hardware, and plumbing industry sectors.

Together, we are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and driven Customer Service Representative to join their team in Mt Wellington. This role will appeal to a junior-level technical Customer Service Representative, who is looking for a long-term opportunity. This fantastic business that boasts many examples of growing and developing careers

**About the role**:

- Processing orders
- Managing all product warranties
- Resolving customer claims and credit requests
- Managing technical product inquiries
- Converting customer details to the new EDI system assisting with website logins and ordering support

**About you**:

- You have experience in a customer service, trade counter, or retail sales position within the manufacturing, engineering, automotive, DIY/hardware, electrical, or plumbing industry (experience in at least one of these categories is essential)
- You are a fast learner with a technical mind so you can pick up on new technical product information with ease
- You are a customer service expert, skilled in understanding customers needs and making recommendations on appropriate solutions
- You have excellent computer skills and pride yourself on your high level of attention to detail
- You are looking for an environment where you can truly become part of the work family
