We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to drive social media excellence and best practice through owning our social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok.

**About the role | Mō te Tūranga
The role is responsible for the quality and channel health of our social media channels, providing the voice for our brand.
Which includes:
The Social Media Strategy:
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify the most suitable social media platforms for reaching our target audience and achieving our objectives.
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap outlining goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and tactics to maximize brand presence on selected platforms.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Define the social customer contact strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally to forecast upcoming campaigns and govern content into the right channel.
- Lead and manage planning, alignment and own a centralised calendar of social activity to give visibility for various stakeholders.
Influencer Management:
- Work with our Influencer agency to manage our existing brand ambassadors as well as growing the programme based on the social strategy.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using relevant analytics tools to track engagement, reach, and conversion metrics.
- Generate regular reports that highlight key insights, performance indicators, and recommendations for optimizing future social media strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to proactively adapt social media strategies.

You will be responsible to identify and drive opportunities to increase the customer engagement across social media and to suggest and execute improvements to business processes, platforms, content and ways of working to maximise Countdown’s return on investment for social communication.
