Fisher & Paykel Healthcare are a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of a range of innovative healthcare solutions, used in hospitals and at home, which improve patient care and outcomes, and make a difference to people’s lives.

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to support our NZ Manufacturing Operations team. They are a large and busy portfolio who are critical to the achievement of our business success.

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the HR Manager and working alongside a Senior HRBP and a team of Advisors, you will:

- Provide pragmatic commercial advice to our leaders to support them to achieve their business outcomes
- Work on strategic business projects
- Improve and streamline the delivery of HR services
- Coach our leaders on performance and disciplinary processes
- Analyse data to provide valuable insights to the business
- Work closely with the centre of expertise teams across the wider HR team.

Some of our Manufacturing Operations team are covered by a Collective Agreement, so previous Union experience would be helpful.

You will have the opportunity to shape how we work with the business; they are really open to exploring how we can do things differently. There is plenty to get your teeth into and an opportunity to really grow your HR career

We are looking for someone with:

- 4 to 5 years HR experience in a broad generalist role, in a large, high-volume environment
- Strong HR knowledge, together with good business and commercial awareness
- Resilience and the ability to think and act at pace
- Experience leading performance management and disciplinary processes
- A continuous improvement mindset; a customer focus and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working with a HR information system
- The ability to form trusted relationships enabling you to partner successfully and influence our employees, leaders and your colleagues.
