**Kōrero mō te Tūranga** **| About the Role**

As the Community Engagement Advisor, you will work across the public transport team -and with other parts of the organisation
- to champion community and customer engagement as part of our activity. This includes engagement for network changes, as well as regular engagement with a variety of stakeholders, including our Accessibility Reference Group. The role includes a mixture of advice to senior management, as well as delivery of engagement activity.

Engage with community, partners, and key stakeholders
- Improve public transport services and information
- Co-ordinate the compiling and production of clear, timely, customer-focused public information
- Research and recommend new approaches to community engagement

This is a full-time permanent position, 40 hours per week based in Christchurch. The indicative salary range is $75,000 - $85,000 depending on skills and experience.

**Mōu** **About You**

Ideally, you’ll have a degree in community engagement, marketing, public relations information coordination, or related activity. You’ll be an experienced engagement professional, preferably with some background in transport or infrastructure-related projects.

The role is a key connection to ensure we effectively engage with our diverse community. This requires exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively represent the organisation in a variety of public forums.
