We're seeking a Communications Advisor, to join our Strategic Communications Team. Working alongside business groups from across the organisation, you'll help keep residents, key stakeholders and staff informed and engaged about the Council's activities, services and decision making.

Reporting to the Strategic Communications Manager, you will have responsibility for project communications and initiatives across the Council. You will develop and implement communications plans to reach and communicate with Christchurch's diverse communities.

We are looking for a tertiary qualified professional with several years of communications experience. You will be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, work well in a complex environment, present effectively and have an exceptional talent for relationship building. You will be involved in the hands-on-delivery of communications plans and expert at providing communications advice and support.
