**The opportunity - Te tūranga**

We're looking for a talented Reporter with senior editorial experience, to join our Te Karere team in Auckland. For 40 years Te Karere has been at the heart of Māori broadcasting bringing news in te reo Māori to our viewers daily. Our Te Karere team is responsible for providing a Māori perspective on important local, national and international issues.

Ko te tūranga nei, he tūranga kairipoata/kaihāpai pukenga tautōhito, i roto i tō mātou whare ki Tāmaki Makaurau. 40 tau a Te Karere e noho ana hei poutokomanawa o te whare pāpāho Māori, ia rā o te wiki, reo Māori ai tā Te Karere kawe i ngā rongo kōrero o te wā ki te mano. Ko te whāinga matua tuarua, he whakaū i te tirohanga Māori ki ngā kaupapa-ā-hapori, ā-motu, ā-ao.

**What we're looking for - Tā mātou e kimi nei**

You'll be brimming with ideas and you'll have the ability to produce and present compelling, reliable and accurate stories for our television and digital audiences that represent the Māori perspective.

You must have a positive attitude, a passion for news and current affairs and the ability to perform live on air.

You'll be a self-starter who knows what it's like to work in a fast-paced newsroom. Fluency and flair with te reo Māori is a must.
