At Auckland Transport our Metro Services team is helping to continuously grow our public transport offering and ensure the drive for service excellence is making a positive difference to accessibility within our communities.

**About the role**

The Metro Contracts team deliver exceptional contract management, including processing of contract payments, variation management, negotiation of contracts, auditing and contract planning to meet the detailed outcomes that have been procured.

The Reporting Specialist is responsible for ensuring that contract reporting requirements are fulfilled by both parties, are delivered on time to the required quality, and populated into the required AT systems and processes.

The role will identify opportunities for improving the reporting process and will advocate for streamlining where possible without a detrimental impact on scope or quality.

**Some Key Tasks include**:

- Monitoring of performance and compliance for public transport service assets including access, availability and performance against specified requirements
- Effective monitoring and reporting against operational and delivery, customer service, quality and safety standards
- Ensure effective and efficient capture of robust and clean data for all bus, train and ferry performance
- Liaising with suppliers, and internal stakeholders, to ensure that contract reporting is received or issued as part contract obligations (on both parties)
- Reviewing whether all required contract reporting has been received in accordance with contract obligations
- Assessing contract schedule reporting activities, and identifying process improvement to ensure compliance, price management (indexation and scope changes) and contract administration outcomes are met

**Ideally you will bring**:

- Tertiary qualification in an analytical, commercial or research discipline
- 5+ years' experience in a business or data analysis role
- Working in a political or complex organisation
- Report / dashboard design experience.
