AFFCO sources top-quality, sustainable, grass-fed, New Zealand Beef and Lamb products from our network of farmer suppliers. We are 100% New Zealand-owned and operated and a proud member of the Talley’s Group; New Zealand’s leading exporter of meat, dairy, seafood, and vegetable products.
AFFCO Imlay is currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and highly organised HR Administrator to join the team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will work with our Head Office HR team and plant management to provide best practice advice and support in areas such as recruitment, induction, training and employee relations.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining robust employee records
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Assisting with performance management and disciplinary processes
- Overseeing contractor induction and compliance
- Supporting various other administration departments as necessary
- Communicating with Head Office HR to ensure people management on-site is effective and in-line with the company strategy.
- Supporting supervisors and managers assisting them with navigating Employment Relations on site.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for a person that can juggle multiple complex priorities and deadlines. Previous exposure to recruiting, incident investigation, report writing and the implementation of ‘best practice’ HR and procedures would be advantageous.
