**The Opportunity**

Given your experience, understanding and passion for internal customers you can articulate the internal customers' needs while balancing this
understanding with the constraints of the development teams. You are responsible for grooming the product backlog, readying stories, leading
estimation sessions, and articulating value and the ‘What’ - so that our development teams can deliver shippable increments every sprint.

You are a great communicator and able presenter, well versed in speaking about your product features and modules to audiences inside and
outside of Gentrack. Your success is measured by being recognised throughout Gentrack as the go-to individual for the product features and
modules that you are responsible for. The people you work with trust you and your ability to create crisp, clear backlog items, and to make timely decisions when required. Your success is visible in the continuous delivery of product value, and your ability to make the right prioritization calls.

You can resolve conflicting requirements, create and implement structure and thrive on change. Our customers come first, so we need to pivot
and flex in our delivery.

Gentrack is a 500 person, growing business, listed in the public markets of New Zealand and Australia. The main people centres are in London, Auckland, Melbourne and Pune.

**Experience / Knowledge**
- Experienced as a Product Owner, at least 2 years preferably in a SaaS solutions environment
- Experience of the full software development life cycle (design, development, and testing) in Agile/Scrum development methodology
- Experience in planning a roadmap to build foundational components which underpin and support the wider ecosystem of microservices for
multiple teams
- Domain experience in the likes of Identity Management, Tenant Management, Observability - Logging, Alerting, Monitoring, CICD Practices for Multi-tenant SaaS Products
- Experience in FinOps for multi tenant SaaS services
- Experience of working with Internal teams to enable and accelerate their product builds and tracking the adoption of Platform services
Ability to evangelize the Platform features with multiple target audience - Product Management, Senior Management, Tech Leads and
Architects
- Ability to create product backlog, demos, personas and conduct user research by reaching out to Internal teams
- Gentrack is a global company therefore working in and with cross-country timezones and teams should also be anticipated
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of how technical features
- Proven ability to understand and communicate technical and business concepts
- A record of building strong products and collaborating with development teams
- Substantial personal responsibility and autonomy
- Exceptional communication skills, and being a good presenter
