**The Opportunity**
As a
Junior Technical Writer, you will help craft clear and easy-to-understand written documentation that improves our client experience. Your proactive approach will be key in producing technical documents that not only meet high standards but also guide our teams in their own writing endeavors. Your responsibilities will include writing technical documentation, creating guides and FAQs, utilising quality visual imagery, and ensuring that all content is concise and user-friendly. With a forward-thinking mindset, you'll contribute to ongoing content development, continuously striving for improvements in product documentation standards to meet client needs effectively.
**The Specifics**
- Write clear and effective communications for internal teams.
- Share your knowledge with your team and the Product Development organization.
- Use best practices to create excellent technical documents.
- Innovate and contribute to continuous improvement in content development.
- Focus on the audience, ensuring content is logical, accurate, and visually effective.
**What**we're** looking for**(you don’t need to be a guru at all,
we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):
- Interest in technical writing best practices.
- Maximum 3 years experience in technical writing.
- Interest in documenting enterprise-level software products.
- Interest in using help authoring tools and information management systems like Confluence.
- Confidence to engage with content owners to gather information.
- Comfortable sharing your work at all stages of drafting and refinement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in content development practices.
- Positive attitude and determination to achieve high standards.
- Commitment to professional excellence and reinforcing Gentrack’s brand.
- Effective relationship management and open-minded approach.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and solve problems creatively.
