**M te tnga | The role**
The purpose of the Team Leader (Iwi) - Processing Operations role is to help process the estimated 7 million completed census forms. This process involves ensuring that all respondent data is captured and processed to the agreed timelines and quality standards.
It is critical that you have the ability to interpret the range of response data related to social, employment, and geographic factors in the census from a Mori perspective. You will lead a team of statistical and data technicians who will review census response data where iwi coding is required and where respondents have used Te Reo in their responses.
Auckland CBD Location. Competitive Salary. Exposure to one of New Zealand's biggest Projects.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ability to build connections with experts who can support accurate resolution of iwi coding of responses
- Building an engaged and high-performing team
- Coaching your team around best practices, including behaviours and techniques
- Being the first line of escalation for your team
- Implementing and monitoring all agreed data quality guidelines and instructions
- Ensuring continuous improvement

- Strong knowledge of Te Ao Maori, Tikanga and Te Reo.

- Ablity to prioritize and meet all deadlines in a changing environment.
- High level of attention to detail
- Great communication skills.
