Data Analyst and Operational Support

Desired skills and attributes required for the role:

- Ideally a degree in computer science/stats or information systems.
- Previous experience in a similar type of role whereby data interpretation is a focus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing data sets
- Good relationship building skills to work across the corporate and operational areas of the business.
- A team player, with the ability to be flexible for the business

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Acquiring data from primary or secondary sources and maintaining and updating our internal system and other system data as required
- Interpret and analyse data to provide the accessible, meaningful, and understandable information for a broad spectrum of users
- Proactively work with Operational Managers and Senior Management team to ensure that information provision is tailored to their priorities and supports their decision-making requirements.
- Provide assistance with system testing and development of test plans as and when required
- Assist with the preparation of training and process material
- Assist the General Manager with other varied tasks and duties to ensure the smooth running of operations across the business
- Provide assistance to the General Manager through assistance with expenses, travel logistics, and other tasks as and when required
