**DESCRIPTION OF ROLE - FOOD SAFETY COMPLIANCE**
- Processing of documentation
- To ensure compliance of food processing regulations and compliance documentation
- Model excellent food hygiene and record keeping across the departments
- Become Food Safety Champion for PaknSave Thames
- Manage and guide learning and development of departments around food safety
- Manage end to end process of internal and external audits processes in a timely manner
- Ensure operational delivery standards are met/exceeded
- Ability to roll out training modules to meet compliance needs for new equipment and processes
- Assist and role model Health and Safety and First Aid across the business
- Maintain excellent relationships with Foodstuffs and external auditors, suppliers
- Product testing and other duties as required

Key Competencies Required
- Experience working in a Food Safety or compliance environment
- Excellent Computer and data processing skills
- Excellent eye for detail an organizational skills
- Analytic thinking and problem solving
- Must be process focused and able to deal with unexpected challenges
- Perseverance and resilience
- High requirement for confidentiality and a good relationships with Department Managers
- Confident and not afraid to highlight when process is not being followed
- Strength (and people skills) to discuss process changes and need for compliance
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
