Cook (Casual)

At Bupa Tararu Care Home, located in Thames, we are searching for a Cook to join our Kitchen team on a Casual basis.

As part of our Kitchen team, you will help create a homely and healthy place for our residents by planning and implementing menu programmes and other catering needs, ensuring that the individual food and nutritional needs of our residents are met.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Menu planning and implementation
- Food preparation
- Lead the kitchen team
- Adhere to food Hygiene and Safety
- Special event catering
- Ordering and Monitoring supplies

**About you**
- Ideally, you will a relevant NZQA qualification and have culinary experience or equivalent.
- Be prepared to roll up your sleeve and get stuck into whatever needs to get done
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, care, and passion for making a difference in our residents’ lives
- Ensure resident confidentiality
- Reliable transport or travel arrangements
