Taura by IFF provide customer specific solutions for some of the best recognised consumer brands with world class production facilities in Mount Maunganui, Tauranga and Belgium. **About the Role**: We are currently seeking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager at our Taura site in Mount Maunganui. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires you to achieve cost effective availability, consistent service levels and supply chain excellence. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy in order to maximise efficiency and productivity. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, resilient and highly adaptable self-starter who is looking to progress their career and add real value to our Mount Maunganui facility. **Job Requirements**: **Key responsibilities will include**: - Direct and coordinate the overall Supply Chain function through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction - Lead, mentor and develop the members of the Supply Chain team in alignment with strategic plans - Develop and implement a supply chain strategy, which includes logistics, planning, procurement and warehouse - Maximise the efficiencies between supply chain and production - Manage demand planning to ensure schedules are aligned with production requirements - Oversee and improve processes within the warehouse - Management and ownership of company inventory - Supplier management (including audits) - Freight Forwarding improvements - Identify and implement cost saving initiatives **Skills and Experience**: **To be successful in this role**: - Extensive background in Supply Chain Management or comparable role with experience in leading and managing supply chain, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics and/or inventory functions. - Experience within FMCG, preferably within the food industry - Ability to translate compliance requirements across safety, production, quality and engineering - Ability to manage a group of diverse stakeholders within a matrix organisation - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Demonstrated skills in the management of employees - Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, ideally with SAP working knowledge - Most importantly, we are seeking an outstanding team player who is smart, enthusiastic, has a "can do" attitude, and wants to work for a business where they can make a difference **Culture and benefits** - Fantastic training platform and support provided to boost your career - 'IFF University' and more - Attractive remuneration and benefits including both Southern Cross Healthcare and Income Protection Insurance through AIA - An inclusive workplace culture focused on quality, customer service and the environment - Be part of a highly motivated, supportive, energised, and successful team As part of Taura Natural Ingredients commitment to Health & Safety, the successful applicant will undergo a pre-employment medical and drug screening test.
