**Job Summary**

Hummgroup is looking for an energetic, motivated technology practitioner that has experience in leading cross-functional, Agile product squads. As the Technical Lead your role will be responsible for and committed to the delivery of the technology roadmap

**Responsibilities in the role**:

- Leading the team in designing and implementing world-class and high-quality cloud-based solutions using Java and other core platform technologies.
- Take ownership for and support your end-to-end technical solutions.
- Work collaboratively with all team members of the agile delivery squads and support the squads in implementing these practices effectively.
- Responsible for providing technical leadership to the squad, including guiding the team's technical decisions.
- Managing any vendor relationships required to run the squad.
- Mentoring the developers in the squad, performing code reviews, and providing hand-on technical leadership
- Work closely with the Product Owner, other teams and stakeholders to understand the product vision and translate it into technical requirements.

**Requirements of the role**:

- Experience designing and managing complex distributed systems (i.e., microservices) including message-based communication.
- Excellent communication skills and independent problem-solving intuitions
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum based).
- Must be skilled in Java programming language and related technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, SQL Serve PostgreSQL, and Oracle
- Knowledge of message queue systems such as RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka
- Experience with build tools such as Maven and Gradle
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, and Prometheus.
