Technical Services Manager / Systems Manager

Our client provides major automated and robotic material handling solutions and responsive operational support for their cutting-edge systems. With a portfolio of established and high-profile customers and high demand for their solutions in a buoyant market, an immediate opportunity now exists for a Technical Services Manager / Systems Manager to join their Auckland operation.

The new manager will lead the O+M team in the successful delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services for a variety of large-scale and customer business-critical automated and robotic infrastructure systems. They will/:

- Lead detailed technical support and fault-finding services through on-site system technicians
- Collaborate with the existing Operations Manager to plan, organize, lead and direct team activities
- Maintain and document safety standard
- Participate in asset condition reporting and fault-finding services where required

About you
- Proficient in working and remotely supporting complex control systems in an industrial automation environment (intralogistics / Airport BHS / manufacturing or similar)
- Strong track record in industrial automation and their control systems
- Be experienced in reading, understand, fault finding/trouble shoot, and basic programming for PLC code (TIA Portal / Omron / A+B or other ladder logic)
- Able to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Registered Electrical License
- Track record in leading and mentoring/training
