**Role**:
As the Tech Lead for Backend at Techwondoe, you will play a pivotal role in leading our backend development efforts while also contributing to full-stack development tasks. You will spearhead the design, development, and deployment of robust backend systems, leveraging your expertise in both backend technologies and full-stack development principles. Additionally, you will guide and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices, driving innovation, and maintaining high-quality code standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend systems using Node.js, Nest.js, or similar technologies.
- Architect scalable and efficient solutions for both backend and full-stack requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process and ensure code quality.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing guidance on coding practices, design patterns, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Write unit tests for all code, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating relevant advancements into our technical stack.
- Take ownership of projects, from inception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

**Skills Required**:

- Proficiency in backend frameworks such as Nest.js, Express.js, or similar.
- Expertise in SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and designing efficient database schemas.
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience with proficiency in frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automated testing frameworks.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide a team of engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and innovative approach to addressing technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement, with a drive to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
