**About Taggart**:
Taggart Earthmoving ltd is a family-owned business that started in 1953; in the past 68 years, we have been part of many large projects in and around Canterbury and the wider South Island. We specialise in large scale earthworks projects, site works, drainage, demolition, heavy haulage and shingle processing and sales. Here at Taggart we take pride in our work, because of this we are known for many awards and high quality workmanship with any project we take on.

**About you**:

- You will be a team player with a positive 'Can-Do' attitude.
- Able to lead by example but also join in on the workplace banter
- Proven communication skills at all levels
- Ability to lead and drive teams to deliver high quality work
- Ability to work to the Taggart Core Values

**To be successful in this role, you will ideally have**:

- A full class 2 license with WTR endorsements (essential)
- Previous experience in the civil drainage/construction industry
- CCC Authorised (Preferable, not essential)
- Certified / Registered Drainlayer (Preferable)
- Ability to read and understand plans in detail
- High personal standards and a positive attitude towards health and safety
