**About the role**:We have an awesome opportunity for an experienced **Drainage Foreman** to join our team based in **Christchurch**. You will be responsible for planning, delivering a variety of projects across Canterbury, leading safely, on time & within budget, engaging, directing and developing a team (up to 5)

**You will be responsible for**:

- Leading from the front, increasing your team's productivity while ensuring high quality of works.
- Great people management with an open communication style.
- Mentor & support the training and development of your team.

**What you bring to the role**:

- A minimum of 5 years of drainage or water installation & experience in public works is essential.
- A clean license with a minimum of class 2 and WTR endorsements. Class 4 would be an advantage.
- Can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and an ability to work with others is required.
- Being a leader in safe working practices is mandatory.
- An ability to work away from home at times would be beneficial.
- Experience in other fields of civil construction work; roading, earthworks or structural work would be an advantage.
