**About the role**

In this newly created Business Operations Manager role, you will serve as a centre of excellence, supporting business sales and service teams to serve Genesis' SME Business customers. Key responsibilities include performance monitoring and reporting, implementing strategies, driving process improvement and implementation, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. In this broad role, you will:

- Support Sales, Contact Centre, and Admin Teams
- Implement and monitor business strategies
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Manage budgets and sales incentive programs
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members
- Ensure superior customer service and compliance with regulations
- Work with the operations and support teams to achieve overall business outcomes

This is a permanent, full-time role which could be worked out of either our Hamilton or Auckland offices and will require regular travel between the sites.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Proven leadership experience, preferably in a contact centre environment
- Strong analytical skills combined with confident presentation abilities
- Proven stakeholder management experience
- Experience working in a sales environment, preferably with a utilities provider
