**Job Description** About the Role**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Capital Asset Maintenance Strategic Asset Manager to oversee our enterprise asset management system, including ‘whole of life’ process from point of introduction into service until disposal. This postion will be based in Auckland looking after our Upper North Island and Technical Services divisions.
**What you will achieve**:
The main purpose of the SAM (Strategic Asset Manager) is to support the business to ensure that the Company’s assets deliver their maximum value while minimising costs and enhancing efficiency, reliability and utilisation. You will provide comprehensive insights to the business from data-driven analysis to facilitate a proactive, informed and optimised maintenance strategy.

One of the key accountabilities of the role includes auditing and reporting on asset availability, whole of life cost, Preventative Maintenance (PM), compliance, and replacement programs. You will work closely with the division’s regional managers (asset owners) to make sure all asset care schedules are achieved, and assets are available and fit for use. In this role, you will work closely with divisional General Managers, Operational Managers, as asset owners, and the other divisional Strategic Asset Manager, to ensure a nationally consistent approach to maintenance, and use of the JDE based Capital Asset Management (CAM) tool for Work Order processing, PM planning and scheduling asset maintenance system provided by the company.
