Are you an **enthusiastic and dynamic Dietitian** with excellent communication skills and knowledge? An opportunity has arisen to join our forward thinking and dynamic community Dietetics team, part of **Adult Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate**, working across Te Toka Tumai, Auckland, providing nutritional care for patients in the area of adult community services.
Our Dietitians work in locality teams and are committed to the holistic delivery of health services within the Te Toka Tumai community. We offer dietetic advice and support to clients with a range of medical conditions including home enteral nutrition, malnutrition, dysphagia, oncology, wound healing, obesity with co-morbidities and irritable bowel syndrome. Services are provided in both the home and clinic settings.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
We are looking for an individual who:
- Is a **NZ Registered Dietitian with a current APC** and **clean** **drivers licence**:
- Preferably has a minimum of 18 months clinical experience in dietetics; previous experience working in community setting is desirable. We would accept expressions of interest from new graduates.
- Has a drive to ensure best health outcomes for people with a special interest in community-based care.
- Has a flexible, pro-active and can-do approach with experience supporting staff and students
- Have an understanding of current issues related to the delivery of community-based care
- Have experience in working in a multidisciplinary team
- Has effective clinical reasoning skills and values evidence-based practice
- Has the ability to work autonomously in a bicultural environment
- Has excellent organisational, communication and inter-personal skills
