Are you an enthusiastic and dynamic Dietitian with extensive clinical skills and experience, looking to take that next step in your career? An opportunity has arisen to join our forward thinking and dynamic community Dietetics team, part of Adult Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate, working across Te Toka Tumai, Auckland, providing clinical leadership and delivery in the area of adult community nutritional support.
Our Dietitians work in locality teams and are committed to the holistic delivery of health services within the Te Toka Tumai community. We offer dietetic advice and support to clients with a range of medical conditions including home enteral nutrition, malnutrition, dysphagia, oncology, wound healing, obesity with co-morbidities and irritable bowel syndrome. Services are provided in both the home and clinic settings.

We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children's Hospital, located in central Auckland.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

**We are looking for an individual who**:

- Is a NZ Registered Dietitian with a current APC and drivers licence
- Has a minimum of 6 years' clinical experience in dietetics including a minimum of 2-3 years within the area of specialty
- Has an interest in further developing their skills in supervising and supporting more junior DTs, and engaging in service development and quality improvement activities.
- Have an understanding of current issues related to the delivery of community-based care
- Have experience in working in a multidisciplinary team and in the provision of professional supervision
- Have effective clinical reasoning skills and values evidence-based practice
