**The Role**:
Based in Wellington, the role is very diverse and dynamic and requires the Regional Manager to be able to work to multiple priorities and co-ordinate the interdependencies between groups of related projects and contracts to deliver services to clients.

Specifically, the Regional Manager is responsible for;
- delivering agreed operational outcomes with the strategic objectives of the company,
- providing inspirational leadership and management to a substantial team who are mainly field based,
- planning and managing all operational activities and ensuring their delivery against contractual requirements and relevant legislation,
- ensuring the optimal utilization of plant, materials and equipment, and,
- on-going stakeholder and client relationship management and development.

**About You**

Our client is seeking a Regional Manager who brings demonstrated experience in the infrastructure, waste and allied fields, sector, and has a deep understanding of the resilience adaptability and perseverance required to operate successfully in this complex and demanding sector. Skills, competencies and attributes sought include;
- a tertiary qualification in a technical or business discipline or equivalent demonstrated relevant experience,
- a proven background in leadership, management and development of a team,
- a sound understanding of financial and commercial management disciplines, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and margin management,
- proven project management experience in a complex operating environment, and,
- am uncompromising approach to the safety, health and well-being of staff.
