**About the opportunity**

Our National Farm Engagement team is a strategic channel to market for Fonterra and Farm Source. The purpose of this role is to provide direction and leadership, transforming our current retail service offering to a “best in class” value add service operating model designed to enhance the connection, trust, and belief in our co-operative.

The Business Improvement Partner - Retail Design is accountable for working across Farm Source to design and support our Stores teams with processes that enable a world class farmer experience. This role is critical in enabling the continued transformation of Farm source’s operating model as well as a point of contact with our customers and shareholders.

Key accountabilities for this role:

- Supporting Stores to simplify their systems and processes to achieve greater efficiencies
- Work cross-functionally to design and document new business processes
- Support the development of a channel effectiveness strategy
- Partner with and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure absolute alignment between strategy, initiatives, and delivery
- Understand external retail activities that could impact Farm Source Store engagement strategies, objectives, or initiatives with respect to farmers.

**About **you**

We are looking for a “retail guru” who has a strong retail foundation and passion about what the future holds in the world of retail. Continuously striving for ‘best in class’ you will thrive in engaging with our stakeholders and identifying business improvement particularly around business process.

You will bring your technical experience of project management delivery particularly within large transformational change projects. Having a strong working knowledge of data/information management technologies in a retail or service environment will allow you to succeed in this role.

What is now, what is the future, and how we build a road map to get there will underpin your day-to-day.

In addition, you will bring:

- Demonstrated understanding of business process/systems design in a Retail or Service environment to support business strategies
- Successful delivery and implementation of change projects
- Commercially savvy and highly results orientated
- Proven leadership and influencing skills particularly within a complex service environment
