We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly ambitious and motivated team player to join our successful team based in Whakatāne.

As a Business Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high value business clients, nurturing relationships with them, helping them to grow their businesses and to achieve their goals.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing and facilitating business and credit submissions that meet customer needs effectively and efficiently and demonstrating prudent risk management
- Being well known and active in the business community, promoting the BNZ brand in the market
- Acting as a trusted partner for clients by demonstrating an understanding of their business
- Using your influence to develop and maintain relationships, both internally and externally

If you are someone who is adept at networking, business development, negotiation and relationship building, then this is the role for you. As a Business Relationship Manager, you will enjoy getting out into the business community and forging long lasting relationships with new and existing clients.

To be successful in this role, you will also have:

- A proven track record of success in financial services and experience dealing with business banking clients
- A proven ability to manage customer relationships and work effectively within a team
- A wide understanding of banking products, markets and industry trends
- A well-developed networked in the business community
