**The opportunity**:
- This is an exciting new role within the Wellington Private Enterprise team. You will work across the division to make sure the team have amazing support and leadership. While this role currently has one direct report, it is a leadership style role for driving best practice, system improvement and excellent client delivery across the whole team.
- The Practice Manager role is responsible for providing high quality operational and organisational support to the Private Enterprise team. Key to success will be an ability to keep the Private Enterprise high level strategy front and centre whilst understanding the details of day-to-day execution.
- As part of this role the Practice Manager will oversee the administration function of the division and will be responsible for supporting the division to deliver on these tasks.
**Day to day you will**:
- Oversee the administration function of the Wellington Private Enterprise team and drive the development of efficient administrative processes that support the team to become trusted advisors to our clients including oversight of the monthly invoicing, reporting and debtor collection.
- Identify and implement improvements to the processes and tools used by the team in support of driving effective engagement delivery.
- You will work closely with the Partner group and Management team to provide portfolio support, guidance and oversight as well as supporting business development initiatives through capturing opportunities.
- As Practice Manager you will play a supporting role for the Management team in the smooth and efficient onboarding of new clients including liaising with and building strong relationships with other key functions of the business involved in this process.
- You will also play a key role in developing and contributing to our positive team culture, by continuing to drive culture initiatives and play a key role between the team and Management,
- You will be pulled into discussions and help with urgent operational needs as they arise.
- Manage and grow an administrative team as required to support the division in achieving day to day and strategic objectives
- Streamline direct to client marketing by ensuring CRM distribution lists are up to date and improve client engagement by identifying and planning client event opportunities.

- A strong management presence and leadership ability, with communication and interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate leaders and team
- Confidence and decisiveness in your decisions, based on experience and knowledge, and can prioritise well. You will be able to collaborate with others to make decisions together and see them through to completion.
- You are often someone who will become the ‘go-to-person’ and the glue that holds a team together. You are supportive and communicate well to build trust.
- Adaptive and responsive and able to stay calm while managing multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy as well as a dedication to excellent work.
- Proven experience in practice management or other relevant role (3+ years)
- Previous experience managing People and managing Managers
- Comfort using a CRM or practice management system
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams skills
- Familiar with financial systems and processes for a professional services practice
