**About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga**

**This is a permanent, full-time role based in Te Pae Aronui - System Delivery, ideally located in Wellington.**

As Team Manager, Performance, you’ll play a key role in support over 800 contracts and more than $1 billion in investment aimed at improving outcomes for ākonga. You’ll lead a small team and contribute directly to performance reporting, fund management, and strategic insight generation.

This role blends leadership with hands-on delivery. You’ll help shape the frameworks, tools, and reporting that ensure our investments are targeted, effective, and transparent. You’ll work across the Ministry to monitor performance, support planning, and tell the story of impact in a way that’s clear, useful, and actionable.

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of leadership, analytical capability, and a pragmatic approach to performance and fund management.

You’ll bring:

- Experience in fund or contract management, ideally in the social sector
- Strong analytical and business analysis skills
- Experience leading small teams or projects

Te Pae Aronui - System Delivery supports the Ministry to deliver services and investments that improve outcomes for ākonga. Our team focuses on contract and fund management, performance reporting, and continuous improvement.

We work closely with regional and national teams to ensure our investments are targeted, effective, and well understood.
