AECOM has a new opportunity for an engaging and motivated Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) Manager to join our NZ business.

Based in our Auckland office, this role will see you supporting the ANZ SHE&W Director, driving compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring a strong culture of SHE&W excellence is upheld.

As the SH&E Manager, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of health and safety programmes and initiatives, supporting ANZ SHE&W strategies throughout the NZ business.

This is a hands-on role, which will see you participating in office and field-based work, with travel as required.

Minimum Requirements

This role is ideal for an experienced safety leader who is looking for an opportunity to extend their skills and knowledge working in a global organisation alongside industry specialists.

+ Bachelor of Occupational Health & Safety or similar

+ Chartered or professional member of relevant professional body

+ Sound understanding of and experience in implementing SH&E+Q risk management principles

+ Strong and effective team leader with excellent interpersonal skills

+ High level of tenacity and drive to achieve outstanding results

+ Critical thinker

+ Excellent time management and organisation skills

+ Experience working in a consulting environment

Preferred Qualifications

+ Relevant postgraduate qualifications or an additional qualification in a related field. e.g. Environment, Psychology or Nursing is desirable
