**The Ghella Abergeldie Joint Venture is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our HSW team, who are champions at delivering a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across the Central Interceptor project.**

**What will you be getting involved in?**
- Partner and engage with our construction teams to provide health, safety and wellbeing support and keep our staff safe
- Be a champion for positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across the project
- Completing investigations, reports, risk control and assessment documentation, permits and SWMS across sites
- Execute regular safety inspections and audits on-site with the teams
- Ensure site equipment is regularly maintained and kept in safe working order
- Drive continuous improvement in health, safety and wellbeing performance
- Update the Health and Safety incident reporting databases
- Safeguard our people by ensuring all health, safety and wellbeing policies and procedures are adhered to

**You will have**:

- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Health & Safety or similar role in the construction infrastructure industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of NZ safety legislation
- Preferably experience in tunneling projects (TBM or MTBM)
- Depth of knowledge in construction plant and equipment capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent with Microsoft suite and experience with Aconex preferably
- Diploma in H&S level 6 preferred but not essential
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A positive and pro-active approach toward teamwork
